We are raising money to plant a new wood in Cambridgeshire, the least wooded county in the country. Rory's wood will join up with neighbouring woods to increase habitats for wildlife, with the addition of 15,851 trees.

Creating Nature’s Corridors was created to improve our planet for generations to come. We need to take immediate action to address the growing loss of our natural landscape and the problems that this represents in terms of the negative impact on the environment, as well as the detrimental effect (socially and emotionally) on local communities. We are on a mission to plant 10,000 trees and hedging plants per year and are committed to communicating the advantages of spending time in nature.
The focus is to address areas of the country which are being pursued by developers, as building will always have a detrimental effect on local woodland/community outside spaces. Last year, we smashed our annual target, doubling the original figure set and achieving a total of 20,029 trees and hedging stock planted, taking the overall number planted since the charity's inception in 2021 to 30,171, which we are incredibly proud of.
