VisionPK is the only charity in Perth and Kinross supporting people who live with sight and hearing loss. Our aim is to help people regain confidence and retain independence as they face the challenges of losing their sight and/or hearing. We help people on both a practical and emotional level.

We currently support just under 1700 people with sight and hearing loss with new referrals reaching us each week. Losing sight and hearing can lead to loss of independence and confidence. Without our support, people struggle to access information, stay connected, and manage daily life confidently. They may stop going out, visiting friends and family and in turn become isolated and lonely which can lead to poor mental health and even depression.
We are tackling the challenges faced by people with sight and hearing loss by providing assessments, practical help and information, emotional support and training to help build skills and confidence. Our team will run social and wellbeing activities to reduce isolation and prevent loneliness. By offering expert information and practical solutions, we will help people to stay independent, manage daily living and stay connected to their communities.
