We are raising funds to provide a community meal every Wednesday at our drop-in hub. The hub is a welcoming, safe social space for asylum seekers and refugees. We provide activities, information and vital support to those seeking sanctuary, helping them to feel settled and part of the community.

Sanctuary seekers face numerous challenges; negative stereotypes, the asylum system itself, navigating an unfamiliar place, language and culture. Most are facing this alone without any help and support. Living in uncertainty places a strain on mental and physical health. It can be isolating and lonely living without a sense of community or belonging and difficult to find the help and support they need, let alone feel they are welcome and settled enough to begin rebuilding their lives.

Our charity provides help and support to those seeking sanctuary. We provide a safe social space that provides enrichment activities, English classes, exercise, creative activities as well as vital support and information that helps them to prepare for life in the UK. We welcome sanctuary seekers and support them to rebuild their lives, develop their skills and feel part of the community. Our space supports people to regain their confidence, make friends and prepare to settle in the UK.
