CARE wants to transform their Westminster office, stewarding a unique location just a stone’s throw away from the Houses of Parliament. This will be a mixture of essential repairs and exciting initiatives to help us expand our impact, as we work to see politics renewed and lives transformed.

CARE has been at 53 Romney Street for almost 40 years: our location allows us to attend Parliamentary debates and to develop trusted relationships with MPs and Peers. But as a Victorian building, it needs urgent refurbishment. We will undertake essential building work, make the building accessible, and develop our space to help us expand our impact, creating a new meeting-space (which can help us expand our work empowering future leaders) and a filming studio to develop resources for churches.

Our location provides a real strategic opportunity, which we want to steward well. This project is not just about refurbishing a building. It’s about using our unique location to drive our vision: to see Politics Renewed and Lives Transformed. We want to engage the Church, developing resources to help Christians understand politics; we want to equip politicians, building deep relationships; and we want to empower future leaders, hosting events, summer-schools and meetings with external partners.
