When a child starts having seizures, their world becomes full of fear. Once they receive their epilepsy diagnosis, their world can fall apart. Knowing they have a long-term health condition causes emotional turmoil that no child should have to face alone. Epilepsy can be cruel. Nearly every hour in the UK another young life is thrown into crisis. Often families cannot access the support they need at this crucial time. They need help. They need information. They need hope.

Expert support and information are essential to help children and their families navigate their lives after an epilepsy diagnosis. Young Epilepsy will listen, guide, and stand beside children and their families to help them overcome the fear and uncertainty of an epilepsy diagnosis. We provide a safe community where they can share stories, connect with peers and access support. By offering clear information and compassionate support, we will make sure no one faces epilepsy alone.
