Sexual exploitation is a real injustice and is happening right across the UK - 9 out of 10 women want to leave but see no way out. For a woman to start healing from trauma, having a home that is both stable and emotionally safe is critical, yet all too often prevented with the national housing crisis. Recovery is rarely quick or straightforward, with specialist counselling being sparsely available or at a high cost. We have more women on our waiting list than we are currently able to support.
Together, we can change this. Orchards is uniquely positioned to empower women through a holistic, survivor-led approach to recovery. With your support and generosity, we are expanding the reach of our in-person safe housing and counselling hubs in South London, East London and East Sussex, and our nationwide online counselling service, to see even more women like *Susan and *Katie free from sexual exploitation, empowered to reclaim their future and bloom in the next season of their lives.
