Our mission is to boost social mobility and ensure that talent and hard work - not background - determines a young person’s future. We boost the workplace skills, confidence, and support networks of young people aged 16-18 who face socio-economic barriers, empowering them to achieve their potential.

The UK faces a growing social mobility problem. Life outcomes are too often determined by socio-economic background, not talent or hard work. With your support, we can help change this. •“Those from more affluent backgrounds are 80% more likely to have a professional job” – The Social Mobility Commission •Young people from the most deprived backgrounds are half as likely to enter Higher Education •“Social mobility has become harder than at any point in over 50 years” – Institute of Fiscal Studies.
Our programme makes a transformational difference to the future social mobility of young people. Each young person - aged 16-18 - at one of our partner schools is connected with a mentor for 12-18 months and has paid internship at one of our employer partners, as well as taking part in a series of skills masterclasses. This enables them to develop the vital workplace skills, confidence, insights and support networks to discover the right career path for them and feel empowered to achieve.
