FareShare Midlands is aiming to raise enough money to source enough food for an additional 200,000 meals this Christmas and beyond. Help us tackle the growing problem of food poverty across the region, by ensuring that the most vulnerable people in our communities have access to good quality food.

Food poverty remains a significant issue across the Midlands, and this Christmas, many households will face difficult choices, balancing high food prices with other bills, and the result will impact growing hunger, despair and poorer health. By 2029, if current trends continue, 1 in 3 households across the region may be living in poverty. The impact is felt across society, impacting educational attainment, social cohesion, NHS capacity and contributes to a mental health crisis.
FareShare Midlands is already tackling food poverty head-on, by sourcing and distributing good-quality surplus food to over 83,000 households across the region weekly, delivering enough food for over 13 million meals. We support hundreds of smaller local groups such as community centres, places of worship, schools and refuges supporting those in need, playing a vital role in our communities by providing not just food, but also hope, all the while bringing communities together.
