Refugees and asylum seekers face trauma, isolation and poor mental health, with little access to nature without support. Our 5-day youth camp and family nature days offer safe, joyful experiences in wild places. Time in nature supports mental wellbeing, builds confidence, reduces isolation and helps people heal. Participants form friendships, grow resilience and feel a sense of belonging in their new communities.
We will run a 5-day youth residential camp for young refugees in partnership with EYST, providing nature-based activities, bushcraft, creativity, and shared experiences in a safe, supportive environment. We will also run nature connection days for refugee families with young children, offering them a chance to spend restorative time outdoors as a family. Our experienced team provides transport, equipment, food and skilled leaders to ensure participants feel safe, welcome and able to engage fully
