Samrong, in remote northern Cambodia, faces severe poverty and poor infrastructure. Over 61% of children drop out after primary school due to few accessible secondary schools and rising costs. With only 39 secondary schools for 219 primary schools, many children drop out of school and work on farms or across the Thai border to support their families. Without a secondary diploma, they miss out on higher education and better jobs, trapping families in poverty.

Opened in 2006, the Samrong Education Centre supports 68 disadvantaged children by providing safe boarding, meals, and free supplementary courses to help them complete secondary school. We accompany each student toward university or vocational training. Our holistic approach fosters responsible, well-rounded individuals who actively contribute to their communities, removing barriers so they can break the cycle of poverty and build brighter futures for themselves and their families.
