Recently The Ripple has experienced some devastating funding cuts that would affect all of our services and people we support in the local community. We are hoping to continue our local community programmes by building resilience with the funding from donors and the BigGive's support.

Restalrig, Lochend & Craigentinny is a disadvantaged, vulnerable and fragile community, among the most deprived in Scotland, our individuals and families face the challenges that poverty, health, and social inequalities bring on a daily basis. These issues become ever more prevalent during the holiday times.
The Ripple provides a community hub space for local people and volunteers to lead and develop services for the area. Our core services are: Children Young People and Families, Community Action, Food Dignity, Older People and Wellbeing. Having these groups at the core we can work with local people to create and deliver local services that are accessible and fit for purpose. This also helps local people feel included, valued, connected and influential in their community.
