Many Suffolk communities face rural isolation & a lack of accessible local services, together with rising costs & deprivation - neighbourhoods in Ipswich, for example, are within the 10% most deprived in England. Free support to reach vulnerable families, i.e., families with SEND children, experiencing deprivation, &/or poor perinatal mental health, is therefore incredibly important. With a lack of suitable free, consistent & accessible local support, many families feel isolated & overwhelmed.

Our free support brings families & communities together & we tailor our service to meet the needs of every family. Home-visiting helps families develop confidence & strategies to better manage their family life, with Coordinators & volunteers listening to & supporting families to access support. Plus, our dedicated family, perinatal mental health & SEND groups run regularly, in accessible locations, within the most vulnerable communities, so that we reach the families most in need.
