People with neuromuscular conditions face constant physical and emotional challenges as their condition progresses. They need expert support to manage life transitions, but demand currently exceeds our OT capacity, leading to delays in care, reduced independence, and increased isolation.
We will recruit a second Occupational Therapist to work alongside our current OT. This will allow us to support more people with neuromuscular conditions through timely home visits, assessments, and coordinated care, helping them stay active, independent, and engaged in their communities.
