Help us fund 8 extraordinary Christmas Dinners for care leavers aged 18-25 who would otherwise be alone at Christmas, a time when most other people have friends and family. It is a time for giving, so please support our communities of volunteers to bring joy, love and support to all.

Care leavers face many acute challenges; primarily a lack of a family structure; also homelessness, poverty, social isolation, and mental health difficulties. These issues are often amplified during the festive period, when others are surrounded by loved ones. Many are without a stable community network, companionship, emotional support, and suffer from financial hardship, which limits access to food, gifts, and basic necessities, never mind a meaningful connection and a sense of belonging.

The Christmas Dinners address this critical gap through a creative and compassionate response: locally organised events by committed volunteers. The dinners provide a safe, welcoming, and joyful space, and each event is designed to deliver a high-quality experience, including a festive meal in a warm, beautifully decorated venue, entertainment and activities, generous gift bags and food hampers. They get transported to and from the venue for meaningful interactions, emotional support and joy.
