Homelessness is on the rise due to cost of living, mortgage and rent increases plus the lack of social housing. With rough sleeping in Cambridge up 21% in 2023–24 and 94% of rough sleepers having experienced trauma, our tailored, 24/7 support is more vital than ever to help break the homelessness cycle. Jimmy’s supports over 250 people annually to move off the streets and rebuild their lives. With your support, we can help more people to move on to more independent, happier and fulfilled lives.
Cambridge’s only emergency accommodation and dedicated complex needs centre, we provide safe, clean accommodation and serve nutritious meals to residents. Furthermore, our team provide tailored support from life skills and budgeting, accessing health services, help with mental health, and substance use and addiction. Beyond this we support our residents explore their passions, examples include woodworking, gardening and vegetable growing to help empower them and build confidence for the future.
