We support people through their cancer journey from diagnosis, through treatment and then post-discharge. We provide counselling, complementary therapies, wellbeing classes and supporting information, all personalised to individual needs. We also help carers, family members and bereaved relatives.

Cancer affects one in two of us in our lifetime. Many people feel anxious, low or isolated, especially after treatment ends. The Mulberry Centre offers wraparound support to anyone affected by cancer — patients, carers and the bereaved — free of charge. This helps improve wellbeing, helps people feel more in control and better able to manage. A new diagnostic centre opens locally in 2026, with 3,000 more cancer treatments expected to significantly increase referrals to us over the next decade.
Our centre is unique. We support anyone affected by cancer, regardless of postcode. After a welcome assessment clients are offered a personalised range of services including 1:1 counselling, support groups, financial advice, end-of-life care and wellbeing support such as yoga, tai chi, breathwork, massage, acupuncture and reflexology to ease side effects. Workshops cover nutrition, grief, stress management and more, while social and creative sessions help reduce isolation and rebuild confidence.
