In the UK, 4.5 million children currently live in poverty, many facing hunger and isolation, especially during school holidays. Since our founding, we have provided 2.5 million meals, but rising child poverty continues to put immense pressure on families struggling to provide nutritious food outside term time, when free school meals aren’t available. The cost of living crisis has worsened this situation, making services like ours more essential than ever.
Meals & More partners with trusted holiday clubs who provide healthy meals and support to vulnerable children (and their families). Last year, we helped 35,000 children with 409,000 meals, ensuring no child goes hungry during holidays. Committed to expanding our reach & deepening support, and with support from our generous partners and communities, we will continue providing grants to partners to support them in feeding young futures / strengthening communities. 1 million meals per year by 2030!
