Adventure and the outdoors should be accessible to everyone, not just physically but financially too. Our Enabling Adventure Fund offers vital financial assistance to access our residential breaks and so opens up life-enhancing outdoor experiences and activities for people with any disability.

There are 16 million disabled people in the UK who often face limited access to health, physically challenging experiences and the social connections these bring. In our recent visitor survey: 55% reported financial limitations kept them from outdoor breaks 93% reported missing these outdoor activities negatively impacted their physical health 65% disabled children are unable to meet recommended activity levels 92% reported time outdoors positively affected their mental well-being

We are a specialist residential centre outside Keswick, where people with disabilities experience adventure, ambition and achievement, far beyond societal perceptions of disability. We welcome guests with disabilities and their families, who enjoy the benefits of outdoor activities in a safe and accessible, yet challenging environment. We work with our disabled guests to encourage them to reach their full potential, building confidence and resilience that extends into their daily lives.
