We rely on nature for everything-the air we breathe, the food we eat, the water we drink-and it supports our health, happiness and economy. Yet, evidence including the 2023 State of Nature report shows that UK habitats are in long-term decline due to unsustainable land use and development. This must change–and through demonstrating how healthy habitats make life better for everyone, we must combat the false narrative that looking after wildlife puts a block on human progress and economic growth.
By donating you will accelerate and expand our work to create and connect woodlands, grasslands, hedgerows and wetlands to establish corridors and protected areas for biodiversity to thrive. By prioritising land management decisions that incorporate Nature-based Solutions, we can push back against the damaging effects of climate change. We will also provide training for aspiring conservationists, inspire younger generations, and empower local communities to champion nature conservation.
