We are creating arts-rich environments in primary schools. Currently we are in 57 schools with over 9000 children. All schools receive art and we are expanding the number receiving music, drama, dance and oracy as well doing art and music installations.

Currently absenteeism is rising, children's mental health is poor and most children report not enjoying school. The emphasis on the 3Rs and budget cuts has meant that many primary schools are not offering art, music, drama, dance or oracy as part of the school day. By creating arts-rich environments we aim to reintroduce joy to school-life, improve mental health and attendance, and improve academic results
Our inspirational artists go into each school every term doing whole school workshops based on charcoal, water-colours, acrylic, tile-painting, packaging, clay modelling, pottery etc. These are backed up with teacher-training in other techniques, syllabus support through Kapow or AccessArt, and the provision of art materials. We offer schools musical instruments, help with music teaching (singing and instrumental), opera and drama workshops, dance using RBS Primary Steps and oracy with ESB
