When deportation threatens to separate families and deprive children of a loving parent, we provide a lifeline. By delivering support and advice to people trapped in immigration detention, we help ensure families are reunited, not forced apart. Your donation can help us continue our vital work.

In 2024, the government locked over 20,000 people in immigration detention. Many people in detention are threatened with deportation that would separate them from their children and families in the UK. As a result, families can be plunged into poverty and children harmed by the loss of a loving parent. We support people in detention to overcome the many barriers to justice they face, and advocate for fairer, more humane treatment of families in the immigration system.

We present a holistic solution. We provide frontline casework support to people in detention, helping them understand their rights, access justice, and reunite with their families. Alongside this, we campaign for systemic change to end indefinite detention and campaign for a more humane immigration system that keeps families together. This dual approach meets urgent needs now while fighting for a fairer, more just immigration system in the future.
