Over 25 years, as resident numbers have grown and their needs have become more complex, we've outgrown our current space. Our communal spaces and staff facilities are inadequate, and we lack distinct areas for our activities programme (which is central to our 'more from life' ethos), and for residents to relax. This means the home can feel extremely busy and overstimulating for our residents with profound physical and learning disabilities, who can, at times become distressed.

Our Space to Thrive Appeal will extend the home and renovate our communal spaces to create: •A spacious new activities room for our award-winning activities programme, filling residents' lives with fun, stimulation and enjoyment; •An accessible garden area improving access to the outdoors; •A calming, homely lounge that supports relaxation and reduces sensory overload; and •A new staff break room and office building, giving our incredible team the space they need to rest and work effectively.
