Cambridge is the UK’s most unequal city (Centre for Cities). In our area, over 1 in 5 children live in poverty, and local wards see child poverty rates up to 20%. Mental illness affects nearly 1 in 6 children, and neurodiversity is underdiagnosed. Families face rising costs, overstretched services, and lack of support. Many fall through the cracks of fragmented help. We offer trusted, long-term support that addresses root causes and builds lasting change.
We provide long-term, relational support grounded in trust. Our family workers offer 1:1 and whole-family support and outreach through drop-ins, courses and experiences. We help children whose families are experiencing challenges, such as poverty, poor mental health, domestic abuse, neurodivergence, or unresolved trauma. We bridge gaps, build confidence, and create sustainable, community-led change. Our model is proven to improve resilience, wellbeing, and engagement with education and services.
