Too many young Londoners are struggling. One in three lives in poverty. The cost-of-living crisis, coupled with a lack of opportunities, limits their chances, with those from marginalised communities often hit hardest. The emotional toll on young people’s lives and self-esteem has never been worse, feeding a sense of exclusion from society around them. They only get one chance at growing up. Together, we should get it right.
We’re here for all young Londoners, especially those with the greatest need. Through our community of 600 youth organisations and London Youth’s programmes, training, advocacy, and our two outdoor learning centres, we create life-changing opportunities that build young people’s resilience and skills. We support youth workers to deliver vital youth work where it’s needed most, now and in the future. The difference they make, the confidence and self-belief young people gain, is priceless.
