Talitha Arts aims to restore hope and dignity to vulnerable communities using the creative arts. We operate bespoke, person-centred workshops run by both professional creatives and trained arts therapists.

Beneficiaries
We work particularly with those who have experienced trauma, such as survivors of trafficking and domestic abuse; refugees; vulnerable young people; and people living with dementia. Their mental health and wellbeing is affected due to their experiences and our workshops offer a social forum for self-expression and empowerment through group work, movement, and integrative arts activities (including visual art, drama, and music).
Our workshops, run by trained art therapists and artists, take place at our partner locations, such as community centres, youth centres, and refuges. They occur monthly over 3 to 10 sessions, and each uses a combination of art forms, including music, drama, visual art, and movement. Participants can enhance communication skills, express themselves creatively, and find a respite from stressful daily lives in self-guided, bespoke workshops.
