Fusion Streets supports young people aged 10–17 with positive sport and physical activities to prevent youth crime and reduce isolation. It boosts aspirations, physical health, mind well-being, and creates local positive role models by upskilling young people as leaders through sport.

Many young people in Doncaster face poverty, educational gaps, poor mental health (1 in 6), and low activity levels (less than 50% meet daily guidelines). Over 40% say they don’t feel safe in their community or have enough to do. These issues fuel anti-social behaviour and limit potential. Fusion Streets uses sport as a vehicle to break down barriers, build trust, and provide structure—helping young people feel safer, more connected, and equipped with the skills they need to thrive.

We’ll deliver 39 weeks of safe, inclusive sport in deprived areas, reaching isolated, disengaged young people at risk of anti-social behaviour. With few local activities, many turn to screens or unsafe choices. Our sessions improve health, wellbeing, confidence, and belonging. Young people gain leadership skills, mentoring, and tailored pathways into volunteering, apprenticeships, and employment—aligning with our mission to help all young people be the best they can be.
