Homelessness is traumatising. For most people who walk through our doors, life is chaotic and unsafe. This Christmas, your support will offer more than a roof — our services provide safety, warmth and belonging to help people rebuild their lives and find hope for the future.

Homelessness is rising year on year, driven by the cost of living and housing crisis. But behind the numbers are lives marked by trauma and chaos. 94% of people in our services who have experienced homelessness have suffered trauma — this is often complex and repeated. Without support, trauma makes it harder to manage mental health, positive relationships and maintain housing. Many are stuck in crisis, with no one to turn to. Thousands face a harsh winter without a safe place to call home.
Our services are grounded in safety, warmth and belonging. We meet people where they are—with open arms and without judgement. Our drop-in centres offer showers, food, clothes and connection. Our supported housing helps young people to safely build their independence. Our Empower service supports women facing domestic abuse with safety planning, relationship education and social connection. All our work is trauma-informed, offering calm, care and hope beyond homelessness.
