We are opening a centre in Phnom Penh Cambodia, to provide expert treatment to animals in need. We need to be able to reach the animals who need help most. Your donation will help buy an Animal Ambulance so we can provide veterinary care for animals who have no one else.

We have been working to stop rabies in Cambodia since 2019. Our work in Phnom Penh and the surrounding areas has clearly shown additional work is needed to improve animal welfare. There are an estimated 302,600 dogs in our project area, as well as a huge cat population, many are suffering with injuries, parasites or disease. Most have no access to veterinary care. We are opening a new centre to train vets and treat animals, but we need to be able to get to the animals that that need us most.
An Animal Ambulance will enable our team of vets to go into the community, reaching animals who have no owners, or whose owners cannot get them to the clinic. It will ensure dogs and cats are not left to suffer and can receive the veterinary care they deserve as soon as possible. As well as provide transport for animals in need of intensive treatment, it will also allow us to run more humane population control programmes, helping to improve animal welfare in Phnom Penh and the surrounding area.
