Foodrise (formerly known as Feedback) is a charity transforming the food system for climate, nature and justice. We take bold action to uncover the root causes of injustice, exploitation and environmental harm in our food system — and work with communities to build just and resilient alternatives.

Food is a basic human right – yet it is being denied to millions across the UK. In 2024, 8 million adults and 3 million children couldn't access enough safe, nutritious food — 15% of households in one of the wealthiest countries on Earth. Meanwhile, corporations profit from flooding shelves with unhealthy, ultra-processed foods that harm our health and planet. With leaders failing to act, we’re building a movement to reclaim the right to good food that supports people and protects the planet.

Foodrise combines grassroots action with bold demands for systemic change to ensure everyone has access to healthy, nourishing food. We run real solutions like the Queen of Greens mobile greengrocer in Liverpool and a nationwide Gleaning Network rescuing surplus produce. We pressure politicians to address hunger’s root causes, amplifying affected communities' voices. We challenge corporate supermarkets’ harmful models and promote fair, regenerative alternatives prioritising people and planet.
