With 16 million people in the UK living with a disability and 1 in 4 facing mental ill health each year, our work is more vital than ever. Thrive champions the benefits of gardening, nature, and horticulture. As experts in Social and Therapeutic Horticulture (STH), our trained practitioners use gardening to boost physical and mental wellbeing, ease isolation and loneliness, and foster purpose and connection.

Thrive connects health and horticulture, making gardening accessible to everyone to benefit their wellbeing. We run therapeutic programmes designed to help those with specific needs. We share health-focused gardening information across the UK, enabling anyone to benefit from gardening. We also train new practitioners to expand access to social and therapeutic horticulture.
