We're raising funds to support young refugees, aged 14-18 yrs who are often dealing with trauma, isolation and a complex asylum system. Our clubs provide a safe space for young people to explore their wellbeing, understand their rights, build confidence, friendships, and connections.

Young refugees in the UK face a hostile environment, worsened by 2024’s anti-immigration riots, delays to asylum claims, and poor accommodation. Many arrive alone and live in limbo, facing intense pressure with no family safety net and limited financial support. Having experienced trauma, isolation, and fragile mental health, young people miss out on vital opportunities to connect, grow, and simply enjoy being young—deepening barriers to recovery and a stable transition into adulthood.

Youth work creates a safe, welcoming space where young refugees can be themselves, feel heard, and build trusted relationships. Through creative, social, and skill-building activities, they grow in confidence, develop friendships, and improve their wellbeing. Youth work helps them understand their rights, express their views, and take action on issues they care about- empowering them to shape their futures and influence wider change.
