We work with London's most marginalised, vulnerable and disadvantaged children, providing them with a free and safe opportunity to be healthy, active, make new friends and develop new skills. As London's biggest cricket charity, this funding will help us to sustain & grow our community programmes.

Children in London face significant challenges. They live in the UK's most densely-populated areas with poor air-quality, little open-space and a higher chance of suffering health issues. They grow-up in very diverse neighbourhoods with high income inequality and a greater chance of becoming involved with/being a victim of crime. Central London's few cricketing opportunities are disproportionately occupied by children from affluent backgrounds, meaning the positive impact it can have is limited.
Cricket is a great activity for developing personal/social skills. In consultation with local partners, our charity creates cricket hubs in areas where children have little/no access. They include: -Delivering in-school coaching with Primary Schools to provide a positive introduction to cricket -Delivering a free coaching, mentoring, match-play and activity programme at an accessible local venue that also features team-building, problem-solving, nutritional workshops and multi-sport activity
