Growing Hope Maidstone provides free therapy for children and families in the Maidstone Borough with additional needs in partnership with St Luke's Maidstone. We aim to grow hope for children, hope for families, and hope in Jesus. Your support will enable us to offer more therapy.

In Kent, 1 in 6 school age children have an additional need, according to Kent County Council. These include physical and mental health, learning, and undiagnosed needs. Waiting lists for NHS paediatric services in the local area have increased since the start of this year and many families can't afford to pay for private therapy. Parents, carers and siblings often feel isolated and experience mental ill health and there can be significant financial strains on parents and carers too.
Growing Hope Maidstone aims to bridge a gap in the therapy provision for families within the Maidstone Borough by providing free therapy including music therapy and speech and language therapy. We also run groups for parents enabling them to process the change that additional needs means for their child’s life. Thirdly, we run siblings groups enabling siblings to process their experience of being a brother or sister of a child with additional needs. Finally, we offer prayer to those who want it.
