Rathbone youth clubs build the resilience, confidence and aspirations of disadvantaged, disabled and disengaged children and young people in Lambeth who have nowhere else to go. We support them to access skills, opportunities and a safe space to help them lead happy, healthy and fulfilling lives.

Beneficiaries
Young people we work with in the south of Lambeth borough face high levels of poverty, inequality, violence, and poor mental health. Some have a learning disability. Many live in overcrowded homes, lack food security, and have no quiet study space. They are exposed to youth crime and have limited access to nearby free creative, sporting, or recreational activities. These challenges harm their wellbeing, limit their potential, and reduce their ability to thrive at school and in life.
We will support socially isolated and at-risk young people to access our youth clubs, running 3 nights a week during term time across 2 sites for ages 8–25 years (including those with SEND). The youth clubs offer hot meals, a safe space, help with schoolwork, trauma-informed youth workers & creative & sports activities including football, boxing & music making in our recording studio. Young people can access mental health support through Stronger Minds, a six-week emotional resilience programme.
