Madagascar ranks among the world’s poorest countries—over 75% live below the international extreme poverty line of $2.15/day. Poverty denies children their basic rights. Half suffer from malnutrition; 1 in 10 dies before age 10. Four in 10 drop out of primary school due to hunger, poor health, or lack of access. In rural areas, schools are under-resourced; in cities, many children are homeless, abused, or orphaned.

Money for Madagascar empowers vulnerable children by tackling poverty at its roots. In rural areas, we improve education, health, nutrition, and sanitation. In cities, we support day and residential centres offering care, shelter, and training. We strengthen families, invest in life skills, and promote sustainable futures—giving every child the chance to thrive, learn, and live with dignity.
