The consequences of climate change are far-reaching. Extreme weather, rising seas and biodiversity loss impact health, food security, and access to water globally. Women are often the most affected. They face social, economic, and political barriers that threaten their basic human rights. Nature is in crisis, and gender injustice is both a cause and a consequence.

TreeSisters tackles climate and social injustice through ethical, Nature-led reforestation projects with women at their core. Projects are community-led and might include planting fruit trees or kitchen gardens, community training in gender equity, and uplifting women with leadership and business skills. Weaving Nature connection into climate action, we inspire long-lasting care for the environment. We challenge the root causes that fuel both ecological and social crises.
