Families in our community are facing a tough winter: cold homes, rising bills and stretched finances. Many babies and children lack warm bedding, safe sleeping spaces, warm winter clothes and coats, and cosy prams. Together we can support these children with dignity, care and compassion.

Across Surrey and Croydon, around 51,000 children live in poverty. Many lack warm bedding, winter coats or a safe place to sleep. This leaves them cold, at risk of illness, and struggling to rest and thrive. As living costs and energy bills rise, referral partners who use the Stripey Stork service report growing demand from families unable to meet their children’s basic needs. Without support, the impact on health, development and long-term wellbeing is severe.

Stripey Stork’s ‘Warmth in Every Bundle’ campaign will provide warm clothing, coats, prams, beds, bedding and essential items to families in Surrey and Croydon. Our referral-led model ensures children receive safe, high-quality items tailored to their needs. We fill urgent gaps left by overstretched services, working with trusted partners to deliver dignity, comfort and care - especially through winter’s harshest months, when the impact is greatest.
