Clear communication is something most of us take for granted. But many people we support have very limited ways to communicate. They can’t say if they’re thirsty, cold or scared. We're raising funds for assistive technology to help them express themselves, feel heard and connect with others.

Many of the people we support have very limited ways to communicate. Some don’t speak at all. New places, loud sounds and unfamiliar people can feel overwhelming—and when you can’t say how you feel, it can lead to real distress and frustration. Imagine being scared, confused or in pain, and not being able to tell anyone. Trapped in silence, they’re not without thoughts or feelings—they just have no way to share them. It’s a frightening, isolating experience that no one should have to endure.
SeeAbility aims to provide extraordinary care for the people we support. A big part of this is helping a person communicate their preferences, choices, ideas and wishes. Assistive technology such as speech generation apps, eye-controlled driven communication devices, braille embossers and interactive screens can be tailored to the needs of the people we support to unlock their ability to communicate and ultimately transform their lives.
