We are a local community organisation that provides a safe and supportive place for children and young people within Liss and the surrounding rural areas to meet and enjoy activities. For 2026 we would like to run our youth work programme that includes after school clubs and individual support.

Liss is a large village with just over 6,000 residents. The area around Liss is rural, which means that young people travel considerable distances to access activities, including education, employment, training and leisure opportunities. For young people, and especially those from low-income households, Crossover is a lifeline in providing a place to go, socialise, try new activities, along with being supported with life's challenges. Local schools and CAMHS also refer young people to us.
The Crossover Youth Centre programme focuses on three areas: • Targeted intervention (Level Up individual sessions and youth outreach) • Preventative/Transition programmes (Year 5 and 6; Year 7+; Tennis Sessions; Music Sessions; Trips and outings; Tailored Groupwork e.g. LGBTQ+ group) • Homeschool Education Support (weekly term time group session, includes safeguarding observations) We employ trained youth workers to run each activity. Without Crossover there is no other local youth provision.
