We provide emergency food for people facing financial crisis, alongside essential items to enable parents to provide for their under-fives. We listen and connect people to the help they need, offering advice and debt support and volunteering opportunities to bring the community together.

Beneficiaries
We provide the makings of 228,000 healthy meals a year, supporting 4,300 people in Eastbourne (4.3%) who are experiencing hunger, poverty and financial crisis. The complexity of people's needs is growing, with more people falling through the gaps in support. We work towards a future where people no longer need the foodbank, enabling 900 people a year to stabilise their finances. We address marginalisation, build self-belief, and forge community connection through inclusive volunteering.
We distribute 3 days' worth of emergency supplies (10 meals), powered by 135 volunteers. Our staff ensure we have enough resources and offer a safe, inclusive space. We support people to address unmet or complex needs, offering advice on debt, income maximisation and budgeting, and convening local services to connect people to targeted support. We make sure marginalised people are heard, nourished and supported, offering opportunities to inform our work and give back through volunteering.
