We are raising funds to support women who are rough sleeping (including those more hidden). This includes mobile phones, food, clothes, transport to a refuge/emergency accommodation and/or other support. Support will also go to advocacy for increased resources and skills to support this group.

The Women's Roughsleeping Census 2024 tells us women who are rough sleeping are often unable to connect with mainstream street outreach services; women tend to walk around more, often outside of the city centre and hidden in trap houses or go home with a stranger, often avoiding the same location for fear of violence. Current housing pathways and resources tend to focus on those more visibly rough sleeping (more likely men) meaning women who rough sleep have less access to resources and support.

We are able to reach out to women through gender-informed outreach; with detailed knowledge of where are and based on a long-standing relationship with women. We can offer practical support in terms food, clothes, access to emergency accommodation as well as emotional support. We also advocate for improved access to resources and gender - informed pathways for women who are rough sleeping based on increased evidence of their experiences including through co-produced peer research and training.
