As the official charity we support the many children and their families who come to our hospital for treatment and care, making their hospital experience the best it possibly can be. Hospitals can often be a scary place so we fund a range of projects to help make the hospital more welcoming for children, dedicated to supporting their needs. We also help fund lifechanging research, cutting-edge equipment and technology so the clinical and research teams at GNCH can deliver better patient care.

We work with staff, patients and visitors to identify areas of importance to them. It can be something small like a mural on a wall or something bigger like a sensory room. The main object for us is to help provide play opportunities and distraction for our patients who might be visiting us for the first time or perhaps be in for a longer stay. Either way we want to make them as comfortable as possible for what is often a very difficult time.
