While Sexual harassment and sexual violence disproportionately affect women in wider society, it is more acute inside the forces because women are in such a stark minority there. The evidence for this statement is overwhelming. We provide Service Women with free legal support, advice and representation. We are a very small charity and we not able to meet all the requests for help that we receive and would like to do more.

We provide free, independent legal advice to Service Women. Where capacity allows, we support Service Women to bring claims in the Employment Tribunal in cases of discrimination and harassment. We also conduct wider advocacy to help Service Women receive information about their rights after they report a criminal sexual offence. Many Service Women are not aware of the important legal recourses that are available to them.
