Over 3000 studies demonstrate that arts engagement is crucial in preventing illness and improving people's mental health and wellbeing. School arts programs are constantly disappearing & arts access is becoming unaffordable, harming mental health & community connection. As a venue serving all ages & backgrounds, we want to fill this gap. Rising costs & growing demand for our community engagement programme in opera, gospel, choral & music activities mean we need your support.

We partner with hard-to-reach schools & Music Hubs to deliver workshops & events to remove arts barriers. This ensures our song writing, opera, gospel & choir projects reach children from all backgrounds. We are also able to encourage these young people to join larger opportunities like our year-round Youth Choir & annual community opera at Blackheath Halls.
