Safe spaces and a platform for girls and young women to share their anxieties, concerns and lived experiences of being a young female in 2025. This will include experiences of sexism, misogyny and challenge to aspirations and career opportunities for girls and women living in the North East of England. The girls and young women that attend our current workshops and sessions tell us they are worried about how males perceive them, refer and treat them and the growing concerns about the manosphere

Providing a safe space to share and explore experiences and thoughts with support from an appropriate and trained female professional staff team will enable the girls to process and frame their stories. Using film as a way to creatively share their stories in a medium that is accessible to all and will provoke questions and encourage discussion and possible examination of behaviour and thought processes from males, particularly those of a similar age. The films will be made available online.
