We are raising funds to support our community transport scheme, providing residents in the Havens area with access to transport and tackling loneliness and isolation in the community. Havens Community Cars addresses transport inequality, supporting community members wellbeing and access to services.

Many people in the Havens area face serious transport barriers due to age, disability, or low income. Without a car or access to public transport, they struggle to attend medical appointments, reach essential services, or stay socially connected. This lack of mobility can lead to isolation, poor health outcomes, and a diminished quality of life- leaving some of the most vulnerable members of our community cut off and unsupported.
Havens Community Cars tackles transport barriers by providing affordable, volunteer-led journeys for those who struggle with mobility or lack access to travel. Using their own vehicles, our dedicated drivers help people reach medical appointments, social activities, and essential services. The service supports low-income, elderly, and disabled residents- keeping them connected, independent, and active in their community and supporting their wellbeing.
