Life threatening situations require immediate health care and essential treatment in the moments immediately after an incident, the kind of help that Community First Responders can provide. Thousands of people a year make emergency calls where first aid skills and equipment would change their outcomes, yet are unable to receive the first aid that will best affect their survival and recovery. We need continued sources of funding to ensure we have resources and capacity to be able to save lives.

Our volunteer Community First Responders (CFRs) are dispatched to life threatening calls in local communities, offering emergency medical care when it’s needed the most. They are available to be dispatched by an ambulance control centre to attend medical emergencies and provide treatment and support within the scope of their training and experience, as provided by LIVES Lincolnshire in their community. Our CFRs will be fully trained and kitted out with essential equipment to help when needed.
