Youth mental health is in crisis. In 2023, 1 in 5 young people had a probable mental disorder. In Hertfordshire, the 2024 Young People's Health & Wellbeing Survey—completed by over 16,000 students—revealed that 17% report low life satisfaction, 5% have self-harmed—up 9% since 2020—and 53% worry about their future. Long NHS wait times and under-resourced services delay recovery. Too many suffer in silence. We must act now to ensure every young person gets the support they need—before it’s too lat
We provide free, early-access expert counselling for young people facing anxiety, depression, grief, and low self-esteem. Co-designed with our Youth Panel, our early and yearlong intervention model prevents crisis and eases NHS pressure. Through in-depth, person-centred support, we help young people understand their emotions, build resilience, and develop healthy coping strategies— empowering lasting outcome improvements in mental health.
