A Brighter Future is our residential second stage addiction recovery programme for vulnerable men with a history of addiction, homelessness and crime. The programme will be delivered through group and one-to-one work, by our Recovery Pathways and Progress Coordinator and will focus on ETE.

Nehemiah provides a home and support for vulnerable men with a a history of addiction, crime and homelessness. Our residential two stage recovery programme is abstinence-based, where men can address the root cause of their addiction within in a safe environment. A Brighter Future is our second stage programme, supporting men on their long-term recovery, helping them to secure employment, training and education as well as continued re connection with their families and wider community.
At Nehemiah we believe that anyone can change their life and we have been supporting men to do so for nearly 30 years in south London. Our professional Recovery Practitioners provide group and one-to-one support for up to 50 men every year across our six houses. Men who join Nehemiah take part in a 13-week CBT based group programme before commencing onto our second stage programme where they receive ongoing support for up to two years. Only 5% of the men who go through our programmes re-offend.
