Beneficiaries
People with disabilities face physical and social barriers to engaging with education, socialising and having fun. This means they can miss out on opportunities to learn life skills and make friends along with the developmental and wellbeing benefits these activities bring. People with learning difficulties can have difficulty communicating and lack pleasant, stimulating yet supportive environments to share time with each other and with people who can help them develop for themselves.
Reclad our Stowfield Main Barn with sustainable timber, extending its life for another 25 years, keeping it available - as a centre for disabled people to learn, socialise and have fun, improving their physical and mental wellbeing as a space where disabled people can feel welcome, safe and comfortable doing activities they choose and enjoy doing with their peers
